We published our first full supplier list this spring, which took longer than we expected — mostly because we insisted on visiting every facility in person before it went on the list.
That meant a few longtime partners came off the list this year, not because anything was wrong, but because we couldn’t verify conditions to our own standard within the timeline. We’d rather publish a shorter, accurate list than a longer one we can’t stand behind.
Next year’s goal is full supply chain mapping two tiers back, not just direct manufacturing partners. We’ll publish progress as we go, including the parts that don’t go as planned.
