Blackmoor Ridge has produced eleven documented light events since August 2023, all occurring within a narrow overnight window between roughly 1:40 and 2:15 AM. The lights have been independently photographed by four different observers using four different cameras.

A weather station analysis ruled out ball lightning as a consistent explanation, since several of the events occurred on clear, dry nights with no storm activity within 80 miles. Local air traffic control has confirmed no scheduled or unscheduled flights over the ridge during any of the logged windows.

The case is classified Active — meaning we’re still actively gathering data rather than treating it as resolved or shelved.
