Snowy forest and mountain at night with stars

A party of four backcountry skiers reported a stationary blue-white light hovering above Ferrow Pass for approximately eleven minutes on the night of January 19, 2024. All four independently sketched the light’s position relative to the ridge line, and the sketches were consistent with each other when compared afterward.

Astronomical records rule out any bright star or planet in that position at that time. The nearest airport reported no scheduled traffic on that heading. We consider this case related to the Blackmoor Ridge lights (UMB-041) given the similar color description and unexplained stationary behavior, though the two locations are roughly 60 miles apart.
